TRANSCARE COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES

TransCare Community Support Services provides housing, employment, and social support programs for transgender and non-binary people in Scarborough and across the GTA. The organization offers transitional housing for those experiencing homelessness, job training and placement assistance, peer support groups, and crisis intervention services. TransCare also works to increase access to health and wellness resources while advocating for systemic change that addresses the barriers trans and non-binary individuals face in finding stable employment and safe housing. By combining direct service delivery with community education, TransCare works to create a more inclusive environment where transgender and non-binary people can live with dignity and security.
