TURNING POINT YOUTH SERVICES

Turning Point Youth Services provides residential and community-based support to young people in Toronto who are experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, or involvement with the justice system. The organization operates multiple transitional housing programs, drop-in centres, and counselling services designed to help youth ages 16 to 24 develop stability and move toward independence. Staff and volunteers work with each young person on practical skills including employment readiness, financial literacy, and life management while addressing underlying trauma and mental health needs. Turning Point also connects youth with education and training opportunities, medical care, and legal support. The organization recognizes that young people facing these circumstances often lack reliable family support and safe housing, and it fills that gap through low-barrier services that meet young people where they are. By providing both immediate crisis response and longer-term programming, Turning Point helps youth in the GTA rebuild their lives and transition to sustainable futures.
