VITA Centre

The VITA Centre provides free tax preparation and financial literacy services to low-income individuals and families across the GTA. Volunteers trained by the organization help residents file tax returns, claim benefits they're eligible for, and understand personal finances. Many clients receive hundreds or thousands of dollars in refunds and credits they would otherwise miss, directly improving their ability to cover essentials like rent, food, and childcare. The Centre also offers workshops on budgeting, saving, and managing debt. By removing barriers to financial services, the VITA Centre helps working poor and vulnerable people stabilize their situations and plan for the future.
