WarmWorkers

Legal name: WARMWORKERS

WarmWorkers provides emergency shelter and wraparound support services to people experiencing homelessness in Brampton and surrounding areas of the GTA. The organization operates warming centers during winter months where unhoused individuals can access hot meals, clean clothing, hygiene facilities, and a safe place to sleep. Beyond immediate shelter needs, WarmWorkers connects clients with mental health counseling, addiction support, employment training, and housing placement assistance. Staff and volunteers work directly with people on the streets and in shelters to build trust and coordinate longer-term solutions. The charity also advocates for affordable housing policy changes and runs community education programs to reduce stigma around homelessness.
