Black MH Matters Canada provides mental health education and advocacy for Black communities across Toronto and beyond. The organization develops culturally relevant resources, training programs, and public awareness campaigns that address the specific mental health challenges faced by Black Canadians, including the impacts of systemic racism, discrimination, and barriers to accessing appropriate care. Black MH Matters works with schools, workplaces, and community organizations to build knowledge about mental health conditions, reduce stigma, and promote early intervention. The charity also trains mental health professionals to deliver culturally competent services and partners with other organizations to ensure Black voices shape conversations about mental wellbeing in Canada's healthcare system.
