BOSNIAN ISLAMIC ASSOCIATION (GAZI HUSREV-BEG)

The Bosnian Islamic Association provides humanitarian aid and cultural support to communities affected by conflict and displacement in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Operating from Etobicoke, the organization collects and distributes medical supplies, food, clothing, and educational materials to vulnerable populations in the Balkans. The association also works to preserve Bosnian cultural heritage and Islamic traditions within Toronto and the GTA while maintaining direct connections to villages and families in need. Through fundraising events and community donations, they address urgent humanitarian crises and support long-term reconstruction efforts in regions still recovering from war. The organization serves as a bridge between the diaspora community in Canada and people experiencing ongoing hardship across Bosnia.
