BREAKOUT EDUCATIONAL NETWORK

Breakout Educational Network runs mentorship and educational programs for youth in Toronto who face barriers to traditional schooling, including those in the child welfare system, experiencing homelessness, or dealing with mental health challenges. The organization pairs young people with trained mentors who provide one-on-one support, academic guidance, and help with life skills development. Through individualized coaching and access to educational resources, Breakout helps participants build confidence, improve academic performance, and work toward meaningful goals. The program operates in schools, community centers, and other accessible locations across the GTA, working with youth ages 12 to 24 to break cycles of poverty and disconnection through sustained, caring relationships.
