CanSTEAM Foundation

CanSTEAM Foundation provides science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics education programs to youth in Markham and across the GTA who have limited access to these learning opportunities. The organization delivers hands-on workshops, mentorship, and classroom resources that help students develop critical thinking skills and explore careers in STEAM fields. Programs are designed for elementary and secondary students, with particular focus on underrepresented groups in technology and science. CanSTEAM works with schools and community centers to bring equipment, expertise, and instruction directly to students, removing barriers that prevent young people from engaging with these subjects early in their education. The foundation believes that exposure to STEAM at a foundational age opens pathways to future opportunities in growing industries.
