CANVAS Arts Action Programs

CANVAS Arts Action Programs delivers arts education to youth across Toronto who have limited access to creative learning opportunities. The organization uses visual arts, music, dance, and theatre as tools to build confidence, critical thinking, and social skills in young people from underserved communities. CANVAS runs after-school programs, workshops, and community events that connect students with professional artists and mentors. By integrating arts into youth development, the organization helps participants explore their identities, express themselves, and envision broader possibilities for their futures. CANVAS serves hundreds of young people annually through partnerships with schools and community centers throughout the GTA.
