Caring for Young Minds (CYM)

Caring for Young Minds provides mental health support and educational programming for children and youth in Etobicoke and across the greater Toronto area. The organization runs school-based counselling services, peer support groups, and crisis intervention programs designed to help young people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges while staying engaged with their education. CYM works directly with schools, families, and community partners to ensure students have access to trained counsellors and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. By addressing mental wellness alongside academic needs, the charity helps remove barriers that prevent young people from learning and developing healthy coping skills during critical stages of their growth.
