CIVIX

CIVIX runs civic education programs that teach young people how government works and how to participate in democracy. The organization brings classroom lessons, student votes, and interactive activities to schools across Toronto and beyond, helping students aged 12 to 18 understand political processes and develop skills for civic engagement. By connecting education to real-world governance, CIVIX builds knowledge about how laws are made, how elections function, and what it means to be an active citizen. The organization works directly with teachers and students to make civics tangible rather than abstract, giving young people tools to follow current events critically and understand their own power as future voters and community members.
