Global Indigenous Development Trust

Global Indigenous Development Trust provides educational programs and scholarships to Indigenous students across Ontario and beyond. The organization works to increase access to post-secondary education, vocational training, and skills development for Indigenous youth and adults who face systemic barriers to learning opportunities. Based in Concord, the trust partners with schools and community organizations to offer tutoring, mentorship, and financial support that help Indigenous learners complete their studies and pursue careers. The organization recognizes that education is a pathway to economic independence and cultural continuity, and it designs its programs to honor Indigenous knowledge systems alongside mainstream academic curricula. Through direct grants, bursaries, and wraparound support services, Global Indigenous Development Trust removes obstacles that prevent Indigenous people from achieving their educational goals.
