Hackergal

Hackergal provides coding education and mentorship to girls and non-binary youth in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area who are underrepresented in technology. The organization runs workshops, bootcamps, and mentorship programs designed to build programming skills and confidence in young people aged 13 to 25. Through hands-on training in web development, software engineering, and other technical disciplines, Hackergal helps participants develop the foundational knowledge needed for careers in tech. The program connects students with industry professionals and creates pathways into internships and employment, addressing the gender gap in the technology sector by fostering a supportive community where underrepresented groups can learn and grow alongside their peers.
