HIPPY Halton Home-Based Program

HIPPY Halton Home-Based Program delivers early childhood education support to families with young children in the Oakville area and across Halton. The program sends trained home visitors to work with parents and children, focusing on language development, literacy, and school readiness through play-based activities and learning materials. HIPPY serves families who may face barriers to accessing traditional preschool programs, including those with limited English proficiency or low household income. By strengthening parent-child interaction and building parental confidence in supporting their child's learning, the program helps ensure children arrive at school with foundational skills in place.
