INCLUSION ACTION IN ONTARIO EDUCATION & COMMUNITY

Inclusion Action in Ontario Education & Community works to remove barriers that prevent students with disabilities from fully participating in school and community life. The organization partners with schools, families, and educators across Toronto and the GTA to implement inclusive practices that benefit all learners. Through advocacy, professional development, and direct support, they help educators create classrooms where students with disabilities learn alongside their peers with meaningful accommodations and support. Their focus extends beyond the classroom to help young people develop social connections and participate in community activities. The organization combines research-based practices with on-the-ground experience to shift how schools think about inclusion, moving from placing students with disabilities in separate settings to building genuinely inclusive environments where diversity is valued and all students can succeed.
