THE MARSHA FOREST CENTRE
The Marsha Forest Centre provides inclusive education advocacy and training in Toronto and across Ontario. The organization works with schools, families, and educators to create learning environments where students with disabilities are fully included in regular classrooms alongside their peers. Through professional development programs, consultation services, and resource creation, the centre helps teachers and administrators remove barriers to participation and belonging. The organization focuses on shifting attitudes and practices toward genuine inclusion rather than segregation or tokenism. Staff and partners collaborate with school boards and community groups to develop strategies that benefit all students while supporting those with intellectual, physical, sensory, and developmental differences. The centre draws on decades of experience in special education reform and operates from the conviction that every child belongs in their neighborhood school and classroom.
