THE NATHANIEL DETT CHORALE

The Nathaniel Dett Chorale delivers music education and performance opportunities to youth in North York and across the Greater Toronto Area. The organization operates a choir program that teaches vocal technique, music theory, and ensemble skills to children and teenagers from diverse backgrounds, many of whom have limited access to arts programming. Members perform in concerts throughout the region while developing confidence and musical literacy. By combining structured rehearsals with public performances, the chorale creates pathways for young singers to engage with classical and contemporary music. The program particularly welcomes participants regardless of prior musical experience or family income.
