ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF YOUTH EMPLOYMENT CENTRES

The Ontario Association of Youth Employment Centres operates a network of programs across the GTA that help young people navigate the transition from school to work. The organization connects youth aged 15 to 29 with job training, skills development, and placement support through local employment centres in communities like North York. Services include resume writing, interview preparation, work experience placements, and connections to employers actively hiring. The centres serve youth facing barriers to employment, including those from low-income backgrounds, newcomers to Canada, and young people with disabilities. By partnering with schools, social service agencies, and employers, the association works to reduce youth unemployment and build a stronger workforce pipeline for Ontario's economy.
