ONTARIO FOUNDATION FOR THE KOREAN BLIND
The Ontario Foundation for the Korean Blind provides education and skills training to blind and visually impaired individuals of Korean heritage in the GTA. The organization offers programs in language, technology, and vocational skills designed to increase independence and employment opportunities for its clients. Services include one-on-one tutoring, group classes, and access to assistive technology resources. The foundation works to address barriers that Korean-speaking blind individuals face when navigating mainstream support systems, ensuring language is never a obstacle to accessing education. Based in Richmond Hill, the organization also connects participants with community resources and peer support networks that help them build confidence and pursue their goals.
