Refugee Women's Network
Refugee Women's Network provides education and skills training to women and girls who have fled persecution and violence. The organization offers language classes, employment preparation, academic upgrading, and professional development programs designed to help refugee women build independent lives and participate fully in their communities. Based in Richmond Hill and serving the greater Toronto area, Refugee Women's Network recognizes that refugee women often face compounded barriers including trauma, social isolation, and systemic discrimination. Through peer support groups, mentorship, and practical workshops, the organization creates safe spaces where women can learn, build confidence, and access pathways to employment and further education. The network also advocates for the rights and inclusion of refugee women while connecting them to essential services and community resources.
