The Remix Project

The Remix Project provides free music production, digital media, and arts training to youth in Toronto, with a focus on young people facing barriers to opportunity due to poverty, foster care involvement, or experience with the criminal justice system. The organization operates state-of-the-art studios and learning spaces where participants develop technical skills in music production, audio engineering, video production, and graphic design while building confidence and professional experience. Beyond skill development, The Remix Project connects youth to mentorship, employment pathways, and creative outlets that help them envision futures outside cycles of marginalization. The organization combines hands-on training with wraparound support, recognizing that creative education works best when it addresses the whole context of a young person's life. Through its programs, The Remix Project has helped hundreds of GTA youth turn artistic talent into career opportunities and personal growth.
