SCIENCE FOR PEACE

Science for Peace uses science education to build understanding between young people from different backgrounds and reduce conflict. The organization brings together students from diverse communities in Toronto and the GTA through hands-on science projects, research collaborations, and dialogue programs that emphasize shared problem-solving. By working side-by-side on topics like environmental science, health, and technology, students develop relationships that challenge stereotypes and build bridges across cultural and social divides. The charity runs after-school programs, summer camps, and school-based initiatives that show how scientific inquiry and cooperation can address real challenges facing their communities.
