UWC (Toronto) Foundation

The UWC Toronto Foundation provides scholarships and educational support to students from low-income backgrounds who demonstrate academic potential and leadership qualities. Operating in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, the organization removes financial barriers that prevent talented young people from accessing quality secondary and post-secondary education. By awarding merit and need-based scholarships, the foundation enables students to attend independent schools and universities they might otherwise be unable to afford. The organization recognizes that financial hardship often prevents capable students from pursuing their educational goals, and works to identify and support those who show promise across diverse communities. Through its scholarship program, UWC Toronto helps talented youth develop their abilities, pursue higher education, and ultimately contribute more fully to society.
