The Young Leaders

The Young Leaders provides after-school and summer programming that develops leadership skills and academic confidence in students from underserved communities across Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area. The organization runs mentorship programs, workshops in public speaking and critical thinking, and career exploration initiatives designed to help young people navigate secondary school and plan for post-secondary education. Staff and volunteer mentors work directly with participants to build resilience and help them envision pathways forward. The foundation serves students from grades 6 through 12, with particular focus on those facing barriers to educational success due to family income or language background. Programming is offered at school sites and community centers, making it accessible to the teenagers who need it most.
